The twilight of fall 2005
It is allways amaizing to see the change of seasons, specially in fall when the first snow assaults the ground, and in early spring as when the weather temporary turns cold with a alyer of late snow. Assault? yes, it is like a war of seasons when the winter unleaches a snow storm to tell everybody what is to expect. These series of photos are taken in 22 and 23 of October 2005, and this thin layer of snow melted at once down in the valley but as seen at the pastures of Fryksås some 500 meters higher altitude the ground was frozen enough to let the snow light up everything with a rhin coat. Yet there will be weeks before the more permanent layer snow will be here to stay, at the time of Thanksgiving and gives the right mood for the coming hollidays. But on 23.rd the wind had turned to north and the more cold wind helped the ground freeze enough to let a thin layer of snow even in the valley.
