040315. Just rambling...

A great source of inspitation is based on shopping, and as I earlier have hinted that I could use of a new guitar. Not that my trusty Rg. is in its dieing day, but keep the inspiration at the top, I have seriously started to look for a new axe. The requirements are:
  1. Good tone and the instrument feels confortable to play.
  2. Floyd Rose
  3. Humbuckers
  4. If possible, 24 fret neck
  5. Affordable, no hand built axes for me.
O K,this narrows the selection a bit, and Rg or a Jem is a obvious choise, but there are alternatives, like Fender Strat, or some of Eddie Van Halen designed guitars like the Wolfgang. There is also this one crappy looking Strat for a bargain with a Floyd and humbuckers, for pretty low amount of cash at the local store. I am willing to give it a second try this weekend, Will it pass the second opinion, it is a deal.
O n the down side, the Floyd seems to be the original one, which is a minus, as I prefer Ibanez version as the ally on it is much stronger. I also am thinking about to replace the floyd on my Charvel Strat aswell. That guitar is based on the guitar seen on VHII cover and sounds great, with really good bite on that humbucker and it is kind of early to retire that one. Next coming stuff is that I will show of my retired guitar collection.
