040301. It's rocking, at last...
W ell, right now I got three pre-demos ready. What I mean my pre-demos are tracks recorded good enough to terminate weather the stuff is good or just crap. This does give me a chanche to work out melodies and solos. My playing has tighten up considerable and recording background tracks go rather easily compared with the first sessions. The tracks so far varies, the first original received a small intro that was rather different to the main body of riffs. This proved to be the medicine for the rather typical bluesy riff. I don't know but, to me it sounds a bit better. This song could be turned to a real nice one, when I start the actual recording sessions. It sounds like pretty much alive.T he second is more into what I am looking for, a flowing pumping tune that has color of its own. This one got potential to turn out to be real nice one. The feeling I was after is some kind of it is a summer hot night and you are cruising down the highway with your rag top down...
T hird one is more attitude, more power aggression. By this stage, it sounds like total crap but got potential to turn out pretty good. So far I have concentrating on the flow and how the stuff actually sounds through ear phones instead of inside in my mind. Next step is to hook up the keyboard & play around with the different features on the D 1600, which so far prooved to be right investment. It is relatively easy to work with, once you get the hang of it and it is easy to kill hours working on the tracks on it.
