 040210. Progress?...
W
ell the work on the project is still on "demo" stage.
In other words, I am still trying to crank up on the features on the Korg D 1600.
I have recorded a couple of "demos" not really for any further use than work on various song parts and adapat infact my playing so the recording sessions
becomes more natural and work up a routine on the sessions.
I guess everything so far recorded sound crappy, but there are few lessions learned while recording.
- My second "demo" came along much faster, though I used an extra guitar track, and while the first recording sounded really sloppy, the second one is
tighter but there is still a lot of work before everything is rock solid.
- The length of sessions should not be too long, specially when you record a solo. The solos does take time, but after a session or two you will find
pretty much good OK for a demo.
- Bass sounds a little too crappy though I just plugged in through the guitar channel. It sound thin and needs a bit of doctoring up. I guess a change of strings and perhaps
more reading in the manual will cure this.
- I guess to keep things pretty much basic, I will be able to upgrade things when this gets more to advanced stage.
Stay Tuned!
