040127. Korg D1600 Mk II, first impressions.
F inally it is here, the loooong awaited crate was delivered to my house the other day. GREAT!!! This means that the project is now definitely on, and in future this "diary" will have more frequent additions.A nyways, I started the whole thing by unpacking and and placing on a temporary stand on a table. I hooked up the juice and Voile! Let there be a light...!! After that I started to on the next mode CAREFULLY reading the manuals, there was two of them, one thicker 170 page one in english and a much thinner in swedish, the latter vary basicly describes different buttons and different features on it. The plan is that during a week or two read & reread them both a week or two before I start with any kind of work on it.
I also am about to make a short list of what I need right now, like some extra chords, maybe a small mixer, Midi- chords and stuff like that. That's cool and not that expensive.
What is next, is during the spring go for a new keyboard, an extra bass and a guitar, the latter a Ibanez RG or a JEM will be just fine. What is not yet desided is whether the album will have voals or being just instrumental, the songs are planned to work fine either way. Though the instrumental album will feature more but shorter tunes compared to the version with vocals.
