030226. New toys on the block.
V-amp 2 is here, so Cry Baby! So finally it is here, I haven't set it up yet and need to by some new headphones to go along. Yes finally, as first I set the eyes on it about a year ago and at first I thought that it is just a toy...You know it does look like a toy, but hell does not sound like one. Unlike Zoom and some other stuff, the sound is clear, definete and you can not just blur around with a guitar and still sound good. One other GREAT plus is that it is easy to set up and the factory presets sounds good. On the down side is that, I wished they have had it in typical rack design, as the thing don't really belong tossed ont the floor and you allmost have to have it on a table. I would have prefered it in rackdesign, I would have bought one at once....
I have already downloaded some stuff from rheir website and as I doctor my way through, I have the option to upgrade what ever when ever I want. As I swapped some cash around, I went for allmost new Cry Baby. This may worry some budddies of mine that Ihave doggone over Hendrix stuff, as I have pinpointed a certain Strat... But no worries, but I guess that this devise will change my playing a bit. I got new tricks to go along and it might turn out as some kind of fun.
Now, as i guess that I got pretty much of basics for guitar playing, I might go along for a small mixer like some 4-6 channel one with midi in and out. so I can easily mix the delay rack, the V-amp and my FX. I have not decided on this just thinking out loud......
